I wouldn’t call myself a typical accountant. I do call myself a nerd sometimes, but the last thing I want to be is dull or boring.

I didn’t really follow the typical path. It’s only after a while that I ended up in accountancy. Years ago I was looking for an accountant myself as an IT freelancer. From that side, I learned that there is often a big gap between entrepeneurs and their accountant.

I expected my accountant to explain me the numbers in understandable words. Instead, he was like a black box to me. I had no clue about my numbers and when I talked with him, I didn’t understand much of the technical stuff he was talking about.

So that’s when I thought: why don’t I learn it myself? I got myself the degree of Tax Accountant and before I realised I had a new calling: become the accountant I needed myself.

Starting from my background in IT I strongly believe in online accountancy. I work 100% paperless and digital. By using accounting software Yuki, entrepreneurs have insight in their numbers themselves. With continuous interaction between us, it is much easier to act proactive and to explain what the numbers mean.

Except for being a good accountant, I love to be involved in the full growth of the entrepeneur: starting, growing and becoming a florishing business together.

My goal is to make sure an entrepeneur can entirely focus on his job, because he knows his numbers are followed up.
